Waco: The Aftermath
Campaign Overview
Waco: The Aftermath is a continuation of Waco, which premiered on Paramount Network in 2018. Developed by showrunners, John Erick Dowdle and Drew Dowdle, this second season follows the trial of the Branch Davidian cult, who was taken down by the US government after the Waco siege of 1993. The story draws the connection from Waco to the Oklahoma City bombing 2-years later.
The series stars Michael Shannon, joined by Giovanni Ribisi, David Costabile, J. Smith-Cameron, John Leguizamo, John Hoogenakker, Keean Johnson, and Abbey Lee. The show is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios, and executive produced by Andrew Gettens.

Campaign Hooks
The McVeigh Connection
Few people know that the Waco siege of 1993 inspired Timothy McVeigh to carry out the Oklahoma City Bombing. Waco: The Aftermath will connect the dots of these two tragedies and tell a larger story about how mistrust in government spawned the Patriot Movement of today.
Behind The Cult, Behind The Trial
After the Waco siege of 1993, the trial of the cult leaders was largely ignored by the mainstream media. Waco: The Aftermath will take a closer look at the followers of fallen cult leader, David Koresh, and how they paid a high cost for their beliefs.
More Real Than Ever
There is a clear red line that leads from Waco, to Oklahoma City, and to the insurrection of the Capitol in Washington, DC on January 6th. The events in Waco that happened 30-years ago are as real and raw as ever. Ignoring that connection can have grave repercussions.
